Where are you located?
Bake World is located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn at 448 Atlantic Avenue between Bond Street and Nevins Street.

What are your hours?
We are open Tuesday-Friday from 7:30 – 7:00; Saturday from 9:00 – 7:00; and Sunday from 11:00 – 5:00. We are closed on Mondays.

What are your payment methods?
We accept cash and all major credit cards.

How long has Bake World been open?
Bake world opened her doors in 2006 and continues to be operated by established bakers and cake designers Ellen Baumwoll and Cheryl Kleinman.

What kinds of baked goods do you sell?
Lots of red velvet cakes and cupcakes, chocolate Valrhona cake, strawberry shortcake, cookies, fruit tarts, pies and so much more! We specialize in custom cakes and cookies for all your events.

What other items besides baked goods do you have for sale in your shop?
We sell colorful candles for your Betty cake, fruit preserves by mymouné, and hand-made pottery by Jill Kleinman.

Are you hiring?
We're always looking for smiling faces to help our customers. Please stop by the bakery to fill out an application, and bring your résumé. (You must have a social security number to apply.)

What kind of ingredients do you use?
We do our best to order local ingredients whenever possible, such as using apples from upstate New York. We use high-quality natural ingredients and everything in the bakery is made from scratch (except for our breads and croissants, which arrive fresh daily from Balthazar Bakery).

What is your allergy information?
We are not a nut-free bakery; all of our baked goods are prepared on premise. Please click here to download a complete list of items that do not include nuts.
